like when i was reading LABB I spend a whole time trying to figure out how you, as a shinigami, can drop your fucking eyes to the human realm and gave them to a newborn. and with the headcanon/theory it not only helps to comprehend how a human like b.b can have naturally the shinigami eyes, but also makes me wonder:

what kind of love affair the shinigami and b.b's mother had? was something similar like gelus and misa, or it was different? are the eyes the only thing b.b acquired from having a shinigami parent, or he had other abilities that he wasn't aware of? did b.b decided to do a whole-ass investigation of the shinigamis after finding out it wasn't normal see the lifespans of people? it is possible that people like b.b existed in the past but the majority of the population doesn't know of their existence bc of how undocumented they are?

L being the more emotionally in-touch person was what brought Light the most euphoria of his life, followed by the most emotionally bleak yet stressful time of his life, proving that L, too, had touched a part of him prior unrecognized, waist deep in his delusions, too ignorant to recognize.
