Do I wish to spend the rest of my life trying to convince this person that this judgement is incorrect? Or do I want to block and move on?

I know it’s hard. I know how hard it is to not look, to ignore, to move on when the person is spitting vitriol behind your back, aiming for your heart. But it is so vital to find people who can be your shield and hold you up while that insignificant pest is trying to bring you down.
