She wondered why his pause was so…long. Her gaze followed his, confusion written on her features briefly.

Then it clicked. No wonder he seemed so familiar to her! She had seen him before in magazines and other advertisements. Though it was nice getting the chance to meet a celebrity but she wasn’t the type to go fanatic or pry upon their business. 

“Ah,of course Mr.Amoretto! If you do come across any trouble or have any questions, Im a shout away!”

     “Hm?” The other suddenly perked up, and upon hearing his own name, he smiled a little. Goodness, he did not expect to be called that ever. Partially because it was Xavierre who was to be called that. It felt a bit strange, to be honest. “Just call me Gabe. Formalities aren’t my thing. But thanks, I’ll be sure to do that, then.”

     Now, he had time to browse through the selection of makeup before him. Thank goodness this store was less crowded than the last, otherwise he would have surely run into people by now…

“Thats totally understandable!” She wondered the struggles from being famous, it must have been hard. To her she preferred the quiet and peaceful life rather than the fast paced and busy type of lives.

“Of course! We just received some new foundations and concealer products today, any brand you’re looking for exactly?” She wasn’t one to judge but she was glad to help anyone, though she had to admit she was a little intimidated by his height. It slightly bothered her to why she couldn’t remember where she had seen him before but she kept quiet and continued to lead him to the makeup.

“I’m Mimi!, if you need anything else just give me a small shout!”

     “Oh, wonderful. At the moment, I have no specific brand in mind–”

     He was just about to thank the girl for showing him the way to the makeup department when he saw… himself on one of the little standing posters. He simply stared at the image for a while. It was an odd sensation, as if he were staring at his reflection in a distorted mirror.

     … Soon enough, he returned his attention to Mimi, and learning her name, he nodded his head and smiled.

Business was going rather slow again but it was the daily routine, though today was a bit different with the commotion near the store. At least that was somewhat eventful to her. She perked up immediately when a tall man walked into the store, he looked vaguely familiar but couldn’t quite place her finger on it…

“Welcome! Looking for anything specific today? Or browsing today?”

     To be honest, he nearly groaned when he heard someone speak to him in this new store. Speaking with fans was exactly what he was trying to avoid by coming here in the first place. But when he registered what the girl was saying, he straightened out his posture and turned to properly face her.

“Of course!      Often times, when he would go out to shopping centers, Gabriele would make sure to disguise himself– contour his face and wear sunglasses, primarily. It was just enough so that people would not recognize him from the high-end fashion shoots he was a part of.

     However, there were times where he would be unlucky… And a person or two might recognize him anyway. This was one of those times.

     “… I apologize, but I really must be going. Though it is always wonderful to meet a fan. Do take care.” He hurried to the opposite side of the shopping center. Unfortunate, as the tea shop he was planning to go to was closer to where he was before.
