Some of my friends are freaks, they never watched gachalife stories and it shows :/
i just discovered this game called redliner and im hooked. its like a sliightly toned down ultrakill with a katana and pvp it fuckin rocks
I got into this game and searched it up to see if there was any cool content related to it. Its mostly just gameplay but I keep seeing this trend where people are showing each other the “OP GUN” and “SECRET INSTAWIN STRATS (TOP 10 PLAYER)” and its like. Dude
There is not The Ultimate Simple Trick/Life Hack for this game. there is not some magical keybind you can press to instantly drain someone of all their health instantly. Using One Gun doesn’t make you OP. if this kind of bullshit was true, every match would be the exact same thing from people wanting to all reach the meta.
You have your style when it comes to playing things like this. I hate hearing “i cant play this i play like shit” in all the comments because THATS JUST YOU BEING NEW. Once you keep getting experience, you’ll learn how you roll with things like these, and then you choose what to use based off of what will compliment that. Aggression, distance, speed, swordplay, aim, positioning, airtime, and decision making are all factors into how you do what you do. That’s not a bad thing; be yourself and learn to love doing that.
You can’t just stop being yourself to earn wins more, because that just makes the experience so much more uncomfortable.
BE YO GODDAMN SELF AND CATER TO YOUR PLAYSTYLE PLEASEEE IS THIS WHAT EVERY PVP GAME IS LIKE NOWADAYS??
Wait, you're ticklish?!
Sending a thousand volts to your roommate's spine and instead of keeling over in agony, they start giggling... Therefore you turn into the tickle monster.

yknow i work with a friend of mine on video editing and stuff, and our whole approaches to the creative process and presentation is something i both love and get terrified with
When making things (or at least getting into the whole “publishing” phases of it all, he really notices the ways to make it sharable/marketable/dripping with retention. There’s always ways to boost engagement, whether it be tags or more saturated colors or pacing or whatnot.
With me though, I think about the opposite the most often. There’s a beauty in dull colors, slower pacing, and brief titles that don’t pander with keywords. Not needing to be held back by such a desire (at least to me) is like getting more tools for a project.
Now it’s very very easy to go “Yeeesh, your friends awful, he sounds just like greedy mrbeast, he needs to stop caring about clicks and views” but when you think about it for two seconds thats a really stupid viewpoint. My mans awesome. if not for him, i kid you not my video would have been stuck at 60 views. (it was his idea to change the title to include better keywords, which i thank him for) and so you kinda have to realize that both of these philosophies have insane merit and necessitate a balance.
Yes, yes, being “over-optimized” and doing xyz and xyz to get views and stand out is meaningless if you don’t put any intricacy into it, but at the same time, who cares how much meaning you pack into something if it just doesn’t get out there?
That whole clash on creative viewpoints has really stuck out to me, and its yet another thing i find fascinating.
im starting to get back into the groove of editing my video after a brief hiatus, and i got good news and bad news
good news is that im making pretty good progress. bad news?
tldr my entire theory is wrong and im stupid
oh and this disproves the entire theory i made in my first vid too. aw hell
now that among us is starting to get popular again does anybody remember that one shitpost where there was a guy at a grocery store (or something adjacent?) and the camera panned to an among us plushie. then the guy said "among us!!" and proceeded to throw the plushie into a dark hole in the ceiling
hey so like
does anyone remember what happened to Pressure
im not talking about the controversy, but what happened to the fans and such
the second they heard what happened, it was like a switch was flipped. suddenly people started criticizing sebastian’s character, how he was poor representation and stereotypical, and how the game was riddled with so many plot holes, and how so many characters were absolutely useless
why didn’t people say all of this earlier? sure, i think a few things were revealed which made people jump to so many conclusions, but it’s not like there was any new major writing changes. everything that happened was external. nothing about the game’s story was altered but people instantly changed their minds and perspectives.
its kinda weird but i think its really fascinating how that works (if not scary as helll). because yes, it kinda implies that making your work “good” isn’t enough, and that good writing can always be tarnished without any fault of your own, and that that love can be revoked at any time and that is SCARY, but it goes to show how people are only really willing to love things unless its honest and the “right” thing to do, given that theyre informed and have a goddamn spine. does that all make sense
i dont say this lightly
i think ive found one of the greatest videos of all time. Ever.

those who know (this thing sure doesnt)
EVERYONE SHUT THE FUCK UP
I think it's about to form a thought
It's okay John take your time 🥹🥹🥹
grand audience awaiting in bated breath 👀👀👀👀
i've been phasing the phrase 'google it' out of my vocabulary and going back to 'look it up'. fuck you youve lost your generic trademark privileges
My favorite way to get back at big name-brand companies is to act like I think they’re just like any other. I always feel a little happy when instead of going “My amazon package got here” i go “This… Amazon company got my package here” like who tf is this random guy huh? you dont deserve to be iconic to me

they killed him for this
ive had these weird thoughts about the concept of how things people make get reacted to and stuff for a long time now
when people have ideas in their heads, they can make it out relatively easy enough, but almost all of the difficulty lies in making it good. Revising ideas, tweaking them to make it flow better, make more sense, and whatever else. Once people think what they’ve made is good enough, they can publish it and anyone that sees it and is interested can take a look.
In theory, if the creator put hard work into it, it will be loved proportionately to how much effort was put in it. Otherwise, if it was made without passion or creative drive, it will end up bad and people won’t like it. Simple.
But there’s always cases where it just doesn’t happen. People make things and try to make them as good as they possibly can, and it will still end up “bad.” I don’t mean cases where AAA studios make something for money, but instances where someone or a group genuinely gives it a shot.
How does it feel for those people? Knowing that they revised it, looked over it again, and made consideration upon consideration just to still miss something entirely? Maybe some visual choice they were proud of is apparently deemed unfitting or wrong in some way, shape, or form by the audience, or some story beat they revised over and over is seen as dull.
Sure, very often the audience can hate something irrationally, or reactions can be mixed. But what about the cases when they deeply, truly aren’t? What happens when receptions are unanimous?
Whenever something like this happens to a creator, the advice or comfort they always get is usually along the lines of “It’s okay, nobody’s perfect, you were good enough.” However, is this really even true at this point?
There’s few of them, but there exists creations that people have argued are “perfect”. Undertale, Breaking Bad, or something like Romeo and Juliet all go down as something flawless. They reach a point where if the average fan saw someone saying they disliked it, the typical/expected/natural reaction wouldn’t be ignoring them, but asking “Why?” like it’s an opinion that has managed to be wrong.
I’m not writing this out of envy, good for those guys, but the point is that there is a threshold that can somehow be crossed. Apparently, a work can be perfect and eternally renowned for its genius and millions of other reasons.
If people can really try just to fail, then that begs the question of “what makes a creation good?”
However, if people can really try just to create what is supposedly an impossible perfect craft, then that begs the infinitely more dreadful question of “what makes a creation perfect?”
How many little details do you need to add to something so that “stupid” becomes “smart” becomes “genius”? How many little nuances or connections should one thing have before “isolated” becomes “interesting” becomes “one of the most creative things I’ve ever seen”?
How much of an audience can you attract so that “niche” becomes “popular” becomes “worldwide phenomenon”?
Is that unrealistic? Yes. Has it happened before? Multiple times.
And, somehow, all of this can be done just to realize that you missed out on something, and the audience deems what you made as something unremarkable en masse.
This is why art terrifies me.

hiiiiiiiiiiiii zephyrrrhrhrhrrhrr i am currently wildy bored. can you pretty please choose a doors architect and i will post my specific hcs about them :3::3:33
Guidi.
Ok yeah I don't know what i expected lmao
some of aff0_'s Guiding Light headcanons!! mostly random and unsorted
as a small sidenote, i am a guide fictionkin but this is not the version o them i am kin w if that makes sense lmao
first up – my Architects have two distinct versions of them, the current version in Limbo and the Hotel, and a past version
Guiding Light, previously unnamed (because the Celestials didn't care to give them identities past their roles, they deemed it unnecessary), used to be kind of an asshole! They were very harsh against the others when it came to doing their roles and sought after perfection because that was what was expected of them :3 all of this with their main motivation being "for the betterment of everyone" aha... the ends justify the means, don't they?
Currently, they're much more solemn and understanding. Their main driving force is still making things better for everyone – they are at their core someone who wants to do good – though they are much better at not being stuck-up about it! They're so much nicer now #yayyy. Another driving force is... their name! They want to guide people, so they won't get lost like what they feel so often,,, what they felt, when everything went to shit
While all of the Architects hold domain over the Ocean, Guide has the biggest control of it so it effectively belongs to them (subject to change bcus of new lore teasers....). After all, the moon controls the tides ;]
transneu! they go by they/them in my au :) they turning the aechitects trans bruh ( (previously it/she)
Acted as a kind of parental figure to Sally before she gained the confidence to break out and actually torment visitors lmao, they regret accompanying her outside the windows a lil since they indirectly contributed to the harming of humans
In a perfect world, they would actually be the biggest memelord of the three. Yes, Curi is good at ragebating, and yes, Mische wants to fuck with everyone, but for some reason Guide takes the cake when it comes to shitposting and insulting people creatively. Just give them the freedom to. Please celestials i need this
Prefers to manifest in a humanoid form! They want to be recognizable as friendly to humans, but still want to separate themselves from them... guess some old habits die hard. (To contrast, my Curi likes manifesting as close to human, and my Mische likes being an eldritch horror)
Prefers bladed weapons over anything! Daggers, swords... they'll take any sharp melee stuff. Not particularly good at ranged weaponry but could do well with throwing knives
Chill with Curi, rivals with Mische though doesn't exactly hate them. Rewind a few hundred years or so their relationship gets so much more complicated it's actualy insane (look, my Architects had weird interpersonal political beef w/ each other okay)
Associated with butterflies!
