Any idea why Toby made Glyde so hard to find?

no, but it's fun to see people finding glyde after thinking they've found every secret. glyde is integral to certain undertale playthroughs for getting the most LV—glyde's implementation is totally RAD

hi! i dont know if you still check tumblr but if you DO i have a question regarding glyde: is it meant to be some sort of deep sea creature, an airplane, or something different entirely? one of my friends is very insistent that its an airplane (only explanation given: “it looks like an airplane”) and im so deadly curious to know what you were thinking of when designing glyde. its a very fun creature design whatever it turns out to be :+)

when i described a group of "glydes" to toby, i described it as a fleet. so i definitely had airplanes in mind. but, a big flying sky whale was probably also running through my head. i was drawing a lot of monsters at the time!

Hey there! I just wanna say that Glyde is such a rad character. They fit into the world of Undertale so well and I wanted to know if they have a official color scheme? Or some info about them since they are my favorite enemy in game.

glyde appears with different colored wings in promotional artwork, and sometimes he looks blue, maybe because he is in the mushroom cave. the 10th anniversary sprite has some colors we can now pull from, which i really like

What did you imagine Glyde looking like when in-color?

i colored the eyes yellow in the pen sketch. i originally drew it with micron pens, and it ending up otherwise black & white is how i ended up imagining it as! but now, i can't unsee the blue & 10th anniversary stream colorings. they're too good

IDK how my monster plays into this game yet, but I’m a big fan of Undertale: I’m playing it and it’s awesome, PLAY THIS GAME!!

I was given the opportunity (through Kickstarter) to submit a design for the monster in the game and I’m incredibly proud to have it included.
