As soon as Vanessa walked into her room, she instantly sensed that her roommate was a mortal. She silently thanked the heavens above for giving her a chance to actually enjoy what was left of her summer vacation. She was currently thinking of some fun things that she could do with her roommate but knew that there were probably professors lurking around. She didn’t care if she got into trouble. The whole point of the school was for Supernaturals to be their own selves, but now with Mortals thrown in, she doubted they would get the same freedom again. 

After discussing a few plans with her girls, she patiently waited for them to show up. Once they did, she opened the door with a smile, letting her self be dragged into a hug. Letting them go, she turned to watch Kirsten. “Meet Harper.” She said. “Isn’t she pretty?”  

While Kirsten was speaking to the new girl, Chelsea took the chance to observe her. Despite her small stature, the girl’s presence was pretty well-known. It was obvious that she was trying to figure out whether she should flee or stay. Chelse was taken out of her thoughts by Vanessa’s question. “Mmm, I agree.” She responded, moving closer to Harper. “I’m Chelsea. We’re all Sophomores. What year are you?” 

Stepping foot into the resort was honestly a fresh breath of air for Chelsea, she had a nice enough vacation, but she missed her two best friends. As soon as she settled in, she texted the two, demanding that they have a mini-reunion before doing anything else. It took them a while to figure out whose room to have their sleepover in. Chelsea was rooming with Natalie and she wasn’t sure if she would be leaving anytime soon. Kirsten was rooming with Eliza and she said the girl had left recently, but she wasn’t sure when she would be back. So, they chose Vanessa who told them that her roommate was a mortal. Hearing that brought some sort of excitement into their minds and they all started thinking of bad bad things. 

After Chelsea got the room number from Vanessa, she quickly made her way over there, knocking lightly on the door. “Open the doooooor!” 

When Harper first set foot onto the resort, her mind was blown. So, this is how Supernaturals party? She briefly wondered if they got here honestly or by the use of compulsion. Either way, she was going to make the most of it. She only had a short time of freedom before she had to start reporting to Mara. Out of all of the soldiers chosen to attend this school, Harper was the youngest. She knew that she had a lot to prove and she knew that they probably were expecting her to fail. She didn’t let it bother her, though. If she wasn’t good enough, she wouldn’t have been chosen for the mission.

It was just her luck that she had gotten paired with a Supernatural creature. She was hoping that she would be able to relax some, but now she had to be on her guard. Her roommate’s name was Vanessa and there was a dangerous air around her. She was still learning how to distinguish between the species so she wasn’t sure what exactly she was rooming with.
