Normality was something that was sparse these days in Cassie’s eyes.  Perhaps that is why she fought so hard for it, to feel like she could still take off her mask and be the girl underneath.  Hanging around the inside of the Arcade helped, a roll of quarters in her pocket and three new high scores under her belt.  She couldn’t help but chuckle.  “You wanna be my second player, I need a partner in Gauntlet II.” 

wally was speeding from game to game all at once using his powers to slow down time as not many people were in yet, and the security cameras were already busted from his last fight here. stopping once he heard footsteps, he played normally glancing at the girl as she came in. he was impressed by her gaming skills as he watched her scores go up, feeling just a bit jealous. “ sure, warning though, you may as well just be my partner as i’m a beast at this. “

“the alcohol here is cheap.” the raven haired woman remarks, yellow hues gazing down at the half filled cup. her features are clearly written with unamusement as she glances towards the bartender. it’s not their fault, she’d learnt that during her time she spent running the night club back in california. it’s almost embarrassing that she’s spent her last few days in this city wandering around from place to place. but she never did do well in the human world and she knows if she goes back to hell they’ll only try to do what was done before. and the scars that liter her wrists remind her even more why she’s up here. “you’d think at the heart of new york there’d be some decent places to drink. i’m almost disappointed.” she continues, talking to no one in particular.

wally turned his head to look at the other male who was speaking to him. the red head shrugged his shoulders, glancing down at his cup of coffee, wrinkling his nose. “i wouldn’t say it’s the best, but it’s alright i suppose.”
