  “QUICKSILVER! I know you are here.”

  “---- And you’re just TOO slow to keep up with me.” He smirked, “SO! Whatcha’ gonna do now, FLASH?”

“I…would feel better with my armor anyway. It won’t take long to put on, I promise.”

“Then put it on ---- I can wait.” Mostly, “Besides, what is the worst that could happen, Tari?”

His expression shifted to a smug grin and the boy folded his arms. “Better hide quick, Pietro, unless you feel like getting slice’n’dice-d.”

It was then that he ended up dashing out the window ---- hopefully before good old Logan decided to show up. After-all, he wasn’t supposed to be there in the first place.

“May I remind you losers that Magneto put me in charge of this group for a reason? The only chance you have of joining his new group is if you guys can prove you can work together as a team. And that, my friends, takes leadership. Strong, decisive, fearless- WANDA! Don’t tell her I'm here!" 

Quicksilver grunted as he folded his arms across his chest, he knew fully well that she had stumbled in where he had just taken a shower, and he wasn’t pleased in the very least, “Tari, we have talked about this before —- SHOWER time is my time.”

“Where was the murder site… do you know?”

“Anyways, it was in the far side of town---- near one of the churches actually. Ironic, huh?”

“Well, I never would say that you would FALL, but you could. Shouldn’t be too hard really ---- run up, spend a while, and run back. I’ve done it before and it was never that bad.” He then chuckled for a few moments, “You just have to make sure you don’t FALL off or do anything wrong. Come on, it’s not like I haven’t done this before.”

“So what’s your mutation?” “Are secondary mutations real, or is that a myth?” “You’re scaring me, stop it!” “Magneto was right.” “I want to join the X-Men someday.” “No wonder your family disowned you, you’re a freak!” “So your family are okay with it?” “Are there any other secrets you’ve been hiding from me?” “Is it dangerous?” “Can you use that during sex?” “I don’t care if you’re a mutant. I’m still here for you.” “You’re a mutant? Me too!” “Trust me. I won’t hurt you. I just want to show you what I can do.” “Were your parents mutants?” “The Registration Act will protect humans AND mutants!” “I didn’t ask to be born like this!” “Invisible mutations are fine, it’s the obvious ones that creep me out.” “People like you should be put down.” “Not ALL humans!” “Not ALL mutants!” “I think mutants are kind of sexy.” “Say that to my face, c’mon. Call me that again.”

“Quit the vague-speak, Quicksilver,” Kurt said, reverting to the mutant name as if to accentuate the mutant factor of the situation. “Did Ky’lar do it or not?”

Quicksilver than glanced towards the doorway, “Yes and no. Just from what I have heard, Nightcrawler. Something about control ---- anyways, if your boy’s gone bad? Well, he might join us, and you wouldn’t want that, would ya?”
