             “oh,  come  on  you  don’t  even  know  what  i  was  going  to  say.”  there’s  a  huff,  a  false  pout  of  her  lips  even  as  amusement  adamantly  colors  her  countenance.  “you  really  need  to  work  on  your  bedside  manners,  alex.”  she  leans  forward,  not  exactly  looking  at  the  patient  file,  but  enough  to  purposefully  put  herself  in  his  peripheral.  “it  could  have  been  anything:  let  me  take  you  out  for  a  drink  or  two,  have  you  seen  the  news,  heard  anything  about  ollie?  that  girl  so  just  checked  you  out.  big  time.  wow.”  sure,  okay,  so  that  started  off  as good humored teasing,  but  as  thea  went  on,  she’d  noticed  the  other  attending?  resident?  who  knows,  practically  breaking  her  neck  just  to  ogle  him  in  passing.  “just  wow,  that’s  got  to  be  distracting.”
