El internet, ese lugar nefasto y mágico donde la creatividad no encontraba su límite, se ha convertido en una conversación entre bots con sus scripts repetitivos y falsos gurúes que te quieren vender un curso sobre éxito en "¡3 simples pasos!"

Before Hogwarts, Imogen's world rarely stretched beyond the walls of her home. Her parents seldom let her wander, and the sunlight had never been particularly comfortable for her eyes, so most of her adventures existed only in her imagination. On one sleepless night, curiosity finally got the better of her. She slipped outside, wandered to the edge of the forbidden forest, and climbed the tallest tree she could find to watch the castle beneath the moonlight.

Unfortunately for her, the first person to spot her was Richard Jackdaw, who decided the most sensible introduction imaginable was to remove his own head.

It was the beginning of an unlikely friendship.

She found herself sneaking out a little more often after that.

Imogen: "You remind me of someone in my year. I believe he's a Gryffindor."

Jackdaw: "Do I, now?"

Imogen: "Mhm. Quite a lot, actually."

Jackdaw: "Surely not."

Imogen: "No, truly. I think his name is... Gerald?"

Es un nombre solo, repetido hasta gastarlo, hasta que se vuelve la única palabra que mi boca todavía sabe pronunciar bien.

Por eso cuando dicen “das demasiado” yo no discuto, solo pienso 'no, yo doy exactamente todo lo que tengo, pero eso no es gratis, eso tiene un nombre puesto encima y no es el tuyo.

No confundas mi entrega con mi disponibilidad. No soy un cuerpo que se ofrece a cualquiera que toque la puerta.

Soy la que se quedó quieta, jodida y aferrada, esperando solamente lo único que valía la pena esperar.

Amar así, sin partes sueltas, sin repartir nada, también es aprender a decir que no con los dientes apretados a todo lo que no seas tú.
