Iām not feeling the best emotionally so hereās a list of random acts of kindness that has been given to me (that I will hold on to for the rest of my life):
1. A customer who once told me that Iām doing an amazing job and to not listen to the male Karen who was making my job difficult. You are an angel, thank you.
2. The empathetic nurse I had the pleasure of meeting when I went to the ER after a severe panic attack, I forgot your name but I remember you and I hope life is treating you with the same kindness you bestow on me. Your presence was so calming and it made me feel better, thank you.
3. That time in SF when I had to used the restroom so badly and the kind lady in front of me let me go first. Me and my bladder thank you! I hope your time in San Francisco was pleasant and wonderful like you.
4. To the customer who complimented my hair when it was dyed blue. Itās a small compliment but it warms my heart, thank you.
5. To my best friendās brother who lended me his jacket when it was cold. It was my first time meeting him so I thought that was really nice. Most people wouldnāt care, so thank you.
6. To the 2 women who encouraged myself and my cousin (we are both short) to move closer to the stage because we were so far back inside that small, small venue and we had to crane our necks to see the artist. I remembered them saying theyāll save our spot if we couldnāt squeeze anyway near the side of the stage - we ended up finding a spot and could see the artist better, so thank you so much for the encouragement.
7. To my old coworker who checked up on me when I was crying during our shift (lol and it was completely unrelated to the job). I canāt remember if you gave me tissue too, but what I do remember is you telling me itās going to be okay - and you were right. So thank you.
