Saved by Grace

I didn’t see this coming, but the Lord did.

I’m so excited and terrified for this new adventure.

some that were criticized by your people

retrospectively, I can now see how they weren’t the best

but they also weren’t the worst either

I wish your people would have shown me more grace back then

understanding that I was growing and learning from my mistakes

just like they have and also were simultaneously doing too

most of all?

I wish you would have had my back

but yours was too weak to stand on your own

you never really could stand up to your family could you?

guess that’s why we ended

but then I had to accept

that we came to an end

and I had to let that piece go.

In letting go,

I learned that I was making room for someone else

someone who would choose me

and still continues to choose and love me everyday

that’s more than what you could ever offer

you were my best friend at a time

but then I think about how you didn’t choose me

and blamed it on God instead

because it was too painful for you to take ownership of
