IN RESPONSE TO THE CRAYONPACK "IS THE CALLOUT TRUE" POST: FALLACIES AND LIES
- “I was 16 when the callout was written, so, a minor, and it was also three goddamn years ago.”
So Toony here is referring to a specific callout- likely the original one by “tricksterexeisanabuser”. Since the blog was deleted, I’m not sure when the original callout was in fact posted, but this response omits extremely important information. While it’s likely, technically, not a lie, it omits the fact that callout blogs have been posting extremely recent information and receipts. (see @herocallout , @dontcontactmeplease)
At the very best, this response is simply irresponsible and doesn’t consider the full picture- it really only regards one part of it, which, when trying to explain yourself, kinda just makes you look like you’re trying to hide the rest of it.
- “I was undiagnosed with a number of things, being heavily physically, emotionally, and sexually abused and unmedicated.”
If this was true at the time- (I emphasize “if” here, but its not really relevant to what I’m about to say)- The callouts have still been referencing extremely recent behavior. So this is irrelevant to the here and now, since they’ve claimed now to be medicated and professionally diagnosed.
- “I’ve changed now and have gotten help since then, at least I hope I have.”
While it’s good they claim to have gotten help, they have not changed in the slightest because behaviors shown in even the original callout are still displayed to this very day. Examples of this include: lying about things to support their case, stalking, harrassing, threatening suicide and/or self harm, using trauma against people, and attempting to trigger people with triggers regarding things such as rape.
Proof:
Context: They sent a graphic description of their assault without any warning to a minor.
Just scroll through @herocallout or @dontcontactmeplease for more examples and for a bunch of harassment and stalking shit.
- They reference the original callout poster and claimed to have been queer platonic partners with them, “which we probably should(n’t) have been because they were in their twenties and I was a minor but we became them anyways”.
This is an example of Toony, once again, making claims without any evidence in order to paint whoever calls them out as abusers or otherwise bad people.
- “Due to trauma I *used to* have a problem where I compulsively lie about certain things, beause if I didn’t lie my mother would beat me occassionally to the point of nearly killing me…”
Excusing bad behavior on the grounds of “I have trauma that made me do it” and claiming that they don’t do this anymore, despite many examples of proof otherwise, once again. They use their trauma a lot as excuses for things they have done and seem to be able to blame anything they’ve done on just about anything. But the fact of the matter is you cannot blame bad behavior on things that have happened to you. Those bad things could explain it, sure, but you are not ommitted from being guilty of doing it. This is the same case for their “my headmates did it” excuses.
- They reference their abuser here (I’d put it down word for word but the way they wrote it doesn’t make it sound like it makes sense at all and I don’t even know where to BEGIN with correcting the phrasing, but regardless) and claim that they were living with them (something along the lines of that anyway).
This is an example of what I said just previously, but it’s also an example of guilt tripping. It tricks the reader into thinking: “Oh, they were struggling, so that explains it.”
They did the same thing to me, so I know how it makes you feel. But in reality, this is just irrelevant information and they should simply be addressing the
situation without any excuses, since their actions are their own and they should be taking responsibility for them, rather than vaguing people without any evidence.
- “I told (the original callout poster) whatever went on between my mother and this abuser and I guess I lied here and there that I forgot to keep up with.”
The problem here is, they had no reason to do this. While its true that compulsive lying springs from abuse in many cases, this situation has nothing do with that and is just downplaying the severity and effect of these lies. They lie so much they can’t keep up with it.
- “I also have dissociative identity disorder so between my and my headmates things would often get mixed up.”
While it’s true Toony is not their headmates, they cannot blame everything on them. They must take responsibility for their actions. “My headmate did it actually” is not a defense that holds up in court.
- “I will admit that I did hurt (the callout poster) during the course of our relationship, in ways he didn’t deserve, and I definitely manipulated him without knowing it.”
This is, once again, downplaying the severity and impact of their actions.
- “Eventually we stopped being friends and I couldn’t handle it. One of my alters couldn’t handle it. We became so disgustingly dependant on (poster) that we didn’t know what to do and thought we would die without him so I did everything in my power to bring him back into being our friend. This included the comment on the 8tracks playlist where I guilt tripped him, and
getting a friend to convince him I was dead.”
This is one of the few times where they actually properly explain their actions without excuses. There are explanations, sure, but they aren’t excusing anything here. This is what they should have been doing the entire time. The only complaint I have here is that they say they did “everything in their power to bring him back into being our friend” when the things they did was far from anything reasonable. But they acknowledge that, so it’s really no biggie. They even emphasize it in a quote that says “That was not okay in the slightest. I don’t know what compelled us to think that was okay”. But of course they ruin all of this in the next quote.
- “That doesn’t make stalking people okay though, and after this is posted I’m going back to a hospital to make sure I get better.”
They compare “stalking” to what they did. Which that “stalking” doesn’t hold a candle to the shit they did at all. But at least they apologize to “Goku” next.
- “I hope if (poster) ever does see this he knows I’m sorry for abusing him, genuinely. He didn’t deserve that and I should of just let him go.”
Next, they address the “lies” the blog (I guess they’re referring to herocallout, I genuinely don’t know) tells.
- “I really shouldn’t have to say this, but I don’t engage in bestiality that was a rumor started by my rapist when he manipulated one of my headmates for our tumblr password and sent random, disgusting messages to certain people. All of which he knew I knew IRL, or were going to move in with me.”
I don’t know if the rumor was started by Toony’s rapist, but I know they need to have proof of this and that they can’t just say they were hacked without any evidence. And no, screenshots of the messages do not count as proof, log in info from another place or an email from tumblr asking “is this you? you logged in from another location” is proof. Proof of the manipulation with timestamps that coincide with the time the messages were sent would be substantial proof too.
- “I have never had sex with my dog. Nor should I have to say that. Christ.”
They have this new lie that this dog is dead now as an excuse to say they didn’t have sex with him, and they don’t reference it here for some reason? That’d surely help your case, (if it were true) no?
- “About the pedophilia stuff from my old NSFW blog: I was 12-15 when all that was posted!”
The ages aren’t matching up with what they’ve told others here, but okay. They also don’t mention that it was “ran by their headmate that doesn’t exist” either. Wonder why. Maybe ‘cause that makes no sense.
- “The cookie run stuff on there was photoshopped, and at that time no character ages were confirmed (which doesn’t excuse shit) but I thought (because I was groomed from a *very* young age) that posting nsfw of minors was okay because I was a minor. It’s not. The blog’s since been deleted since I turned 17.”
Ages don’t match up again, and these are a WHOLE lot of excuses, especially when you say it’s photoshopped but also that you still posted it. Really don’t get that one.
- “The fanfiction: any fanfiction that was posted to my AO3 account that involved bestiality (or) underage was written (when I) was underage (and) being groomed by an older woman. To my knowledge she’s in jail now for what (she) did to me and several other children…”
Love to have proof for this. If there is any, these fanfictions would definitely be explained and could honestly be written off due to what happened to them, since grooming can really change people and make them do things they’d otherwise never do.
- “Sexual assault: the one who spoke about me sexually assaulting them is a liar, and this isn’t me trying to clear my ass either. (Insert details about this). I was underage while he was not.”
I’ll research this more as time goes on. But as of right now, this just seems like someone combating accusations against them with accusations that have no evidence. They have also claimed that they do have evidence, but any that they’ve sent did not serve as that, or were simply never sent- such as police reports, which they said they had but never sent.
- “I’ll answer any questions about this off anon because I don’t want my followers reading about a child getting raped.”
However, they sent a graphic description of this to a child that very night (see “I’ve changed now”.
- “Apparently the woman who assaulted me was trans! Sorry!!”
I genuinely don’t know where this is coming from or what it’s implying, so all I have to say is: huh.
So TLDR: Toony really needs some proof to back any of this up and is just being a liar and a hypocrite throughout a lot of this.
