b freezes and looks tense/panicked/idk. he sits up and turns to face A

A stares blankly

"i-- i was just talkin to 'im the other day and he kept complaining about how we'll never amount to anything or somethin, and how he thinks you guys are below him and how [his voice drops and is nearly inaudible] im just his stupid lil' plaything.."

"I-- I MEAN-- i said i didnt owe him anything!! yeah, i wasnt gonna let him talk that way about my team, was i?? n' anyways, i was just startin to feel kinda down, thinkin about all that stuff he said about you, or whatever"

i didnt plan what happsn after this but she leaves the room and b flops back onto the floor. he stares at the ceiling as the last thing she said echoes in his mind
