"That's definitely a you thing. Sometimes really cold food makes my gums hurt though." Ehren mused. "Hm? Oh, nothing really. We can hang out if you're free, yeah!"
"bodies are weird." she mused with a shrug, maybe it was an original experience maybe it wasn't she didn't really care. "cool, i've got almost two hours left on my shift but after that i'm free. we can stick to the mall or go somewhere else i'm not picky."

who: luke and benja where: iiiii dont know @sparepcrts
this is where lukes motto 'anything for a check' backfired on him, a viewer paying him a thousand dollars to be duct taped to a bench out in public for at least an hour. as the time was nearing the end and his friend hadn't come back yet, he was trying to figure out how he could get himself out of this himself. "oh fuck me," he mumbled while he was wiggling after seeing benja approaching. "today of all days is the day you decide to leave your house?"
He hadn't expected anything much from the stroll he was taking through the park other than just getting out of his apartment, but the sight of Luke taped to a bench caused Benja to raise an eyebrow. "I leave my house quite often, actually. We just don't to go any of the same places," he mused as he observed the situation. "So. How much?"
who: isaac and andi where: tao talent agency @sparepcrts
paige had done everything for him since she lost her mother and even if that was his wife he should've been there for her the way she was to him and this was the start of him trying to make up for it. "hey um, i've never done this before but my daughter was interested in this kind of thing. how or like where does she start?"
"Welcome to - oh," Andi's sentence finished with a breathy gasp a soon as she looked up. "Hi - okay, sure. Is she looking to be a rep or is she looking to be signed talent?" She was shocked the neurons were firing in her brain correctly. Of course this mad had a daughter. He had DILF written all over him. "How old is she?"
quentin was slightly concerned by that answer but mostly because of his doctor instincts wanted to take over. "you don't feel much? that's, well kind of a new one for me. are you sure you don't want me to check you over just in case? i'm a doctor i promise i'm not trying to be creepy."
Lilith couldn't help but laugh again. "Sorry - that was just really funny. You can; to be up front though, I am a synth. I think they just never bothered to connect some wires when assembling me." She shook her head, but smoothed down her hair. "A doctor? You seem way too young."
"Half of it is less work and just figuring out how much they haven't been talking me about. There's still a bunch of stuff that's marked redacted," Ven grumbled. It was frustrating, a part of him wondering if it was a way to get him to talk to Yoel again, but he wasn't sure if that was something his dad would do. Squeezing Yag's hand back, he brushed slow circles over his thumb.
Yag's tone might have been casual but Ven felt the tension in Yag's hand. "Not right now, I don't...feels like if I do that I'm saying 'Ok, this happened moving on now', you know?" he said. Chuckling he shook his head, "They'd probably be fine with it, and yeah? That's kind of cute." He was still staring at their hands, swallowing, "Hey I don't know how else to say this but...I'm sorry, about the night of the accident. It's my fault all this happened...so I'm sorry."
Yeager had always been particularly affectionate - often snuggled into the side of anyone who would let him. Karma and Ven usually got the brunt of it when he was away from home. He used to spend most of his time snuggled up with Alexander, and it was clear he was really missing it. But he was still far too hurt to even try to go back home. "Still? Jesus. That's such bullshit. The head of things is literally your dad. He should stop being a chickenshit and just fess up."
The circles relaxed him a little, and he peered up at Ven. "It was an accident. You didn't leave the club with the intention to kill me. Like, yeah, that's what set shit off but.... yours wasn't a conscious decision. My dad decided to just reconstruct me and not fucking tell me, ever. So what if I reacted badly the first time. Maybe just try again?" Yag let out a huff of air. "You're my best friend. I know you better than almost anyone. I don't want you to feel guilty about something that we all decided on. We all made the stupid fucking choice to drive home. None of us tried to persuade the other." All shockingly sensible, for Yag, but he had a lot of time to ruminate and sit with his thoughts. "I know you guys are happy I still exist. I'm not.... not happy that I exist. I'm just really unhappy that no one tried to tell me."
penelope stayed silent while he spoke but it was also to try and process what she'd heard herself. finding out something like that had to be jarring so no wonder he went radio silent. "holy shit yag," she finally said barely able to believe it herself, "that's. . .intense. are you at least hiding somewhere safe?" she worried he was on the streets right now and was ready to offer him a place to stay if he needed it.
"Yeah. It fucking sucks," he mumbled. "What? Oh; yeah. I'm staying with... I guess they're friends now. They were with me when I found out. So I've got a pretty solid place. I can't stay there forever, but.... it works for now. I'm just really not ready to go home. I don't know if I'll ever be."

"Yes, Lyosha" Antosha repeated with a nod "he's my favorite person. We live together." he added as he started to pull on his fingers a little out of habit. He muttered their names a couple of times after she mentioned them matching. "I guess they do. I never noticed."
"Sounds like me and Quill," she murmured, more to herself than Antosha. "Okay; well. Nice meeting you, I guess. So I shouldn't expect to see you at Harker family events?"
Quill saw the hesitation on her face, rubbing her side with his hand as he waited for her to process whatever it was she was thinking through. He had a fairly good eye idea where her thoughts were going. It was part of the reason he'd said what he had said, trying to see where the lines were on this new aspect of them. He'd finished his drink setting the empty glass on the bar as he followed her outside.
Taking out a pack he held one out towards her before lighting it, leaning back against a wall as he looked at her. "Was that too domestic? I can pull it back if you prefer," he said as he lit his own taking a slow drag and watching the smoke drift off. "Or you enjoying it more than you thought you would?"
The cooler air was much needed, and Cosima stayed still just long enough for Quill to light her cigarette before she started moving - not quite pacing, but she couldn't ever sit still with so much on her mind.
"I don't know." She opted to answer him honestly. "Both? Neither? You know I don't date." And she hadn't - not before him. She'd sleep around with anyone who would give her the time of day, but she didn't let anyone stay or get close. Except him. "It's...." She struggled to find the words, chewing on her lower lip. "I don't.... want to be replaced. You know what happened. Jackson was born, and I was suddenly very unimportant to my parents. I don't.... know if I can handle that again." She hated being vulnerable. She refused to meet Quill's gaze, just fidgeting and chewing her lip and taking irregular drags from her cigarette. "You can't do that to me. But it's not like you can promise me you won't, either."
Rick had tossed his cigarette down, putting it out with his shoe after it landed. The forwardness was still new for him but the attention was nice and this guy didn't seem overly needy. "Don't think I have the luck for gambling, was thinking more about grabbing a drink, you up for one?" he asked. A nervous chuckle slipped out as he broke eye contact, "Pretty enough to be a model," he agreed.
"Oh? You got bad luck, handsome?" Loras chuckled a little, but nodded at the question. "Yes; I'd love to grab a drink with you. And you might even see your luck turn around if you keep up with compliments like that."
Chris stood there, just in the moment taking this all in. their closeness, something he had secretly longed for but never let him self think about it for too long. Things were complicated with him, his work. But seeing his family again, having connections, and seeing Harley nearly Every day like clock work just made him want Harley around more. He didn't want a day to go by that he didn't see them and that's when it began to click that this was more than just, two Neighbors, two friends spending time together. They were both stealing moments with someone they had feelings for.
"I like when you ramble, it quites my own thoughts" he said softly as he shook his head "you were my neighbor first and foremost, my...best friend second and then I just couldn't stop myself from having feelings for you. But never did I see you as a sibling" he chuckled a little "Maybe I tried to convince myself how I felt but...I've never wanted to kiss my siblings...not like how I've wanted to kiss you." His hand reached up to their cheek gently letting his fingers touch their cheek "I think I've just been so scared to lose you...I- didn't think you felt the same"
"Well, I hope not," Harley snickered a little to themself. "I think maybe... I was projecting. Like you had to think of me as a little sibling because you're around the same age as my brother, and I thought you'd think it was weird. I don't know. Usually my feelings are a lot more concise. These ones are hard, and muddled. But that's not a bad thing," they quickly shook their head. "You're not going to lose me. Even if I didn't feel the same way, you wouldn't lose me. I don't let stuff like that deter friendship. Unless that's all the person wanted, of course. But I didn't think you were like that."
allison was incredibly nervous for tristan to come over, it was like all she could think of was what could go wrong. what if her dad came home? her mom? or worse, neither would come home and she'd be home alone with a boy and had no idea where things would go but that also made her kind of excited.
she couldn't even wait in her room for him, partly cause it'd be kind of an awkward wait at the door but she also couldn't sit still right now. when he finally got there she waited a few seconds so she didn't seem weird for opening it right away but when she did she greeted him with a smile, cheeks also flushing a little.
"hi," she giggled some, "sort of, the company my dad works for expanded to out here and they wanted him to run it so it came with a pay raise." it wasn't like their family needed it, he was already making good money before the move. "you wanna come in?"
"I don't know - sounds pretty fancy and rich to me," he teased, gently rubbing her arm. "Yeah; thanks." Stepping into the house, Tristan took a moment to look around. This family had money - and if he didn't like Allison so much, he'd be tempted to see what he could get away with taking, and might even come back later to see what he could keep getting away with. But he did like Allison so much, so he pushed the gremlin thoughts back.
"Damn - you sure it's just three of you? Cuz this house is big enough for like..... a small army. Or a super religious family who doesn't believe in birth control." He paused to turn to look at her, biting back the burning question. She wasn't like the other girls he hung out with - he couldn't just ask her if she did. "So um - sorry, I have the memory of a goldfish. What did we say we were watching? I know it was something I brought up since you haven't seen like...... anything, somehow. What did you do for fun?"

"yea," he answered quickly after hearing his name. "oh really? damn are you smitten over a girl right now? i don't think i've ever seen you this excited talking about someone before."
"I am smittin so fuckin hard even though I absolutely made a total ass of myself the first time we met," Tristan was practically talking a mile a minute. "She's so cute though, and she's got a cute little accent, and she's like the most innocent girl in the world I have no idea how she's gotten this far in life but she's so sheltered it's funny but cute."

He had said that he wanted them to be close again - but Tanner didn't mean he wanted to reconnect with Yoel because their brothers had banded together and suddenly hated them. Tanner was at least sort of used to Yeager's mood swings. Yoel had never experienced Ven any other way but docile and compliant; sweet and accommodating.
"Brought pizza," he cast a glance down at the shoe rack, making note of how Chandler's chunky docs seemed to be absent. "Seems like I came over at the right time. Or does your girlfriend know about what's going on?" The question was light, but there was an urgency in the question. She wasn't supposed to know too much.
