You'd think I'd have coffee at home, but I don't. I'm thankful my mom is my neighbor....for many reasons. This morning? Coffee! And she's making homemade chicken and dumplins for lunch too!

Wow! Talk about a send off! Today is my last day (of 15 years) at Hard Rock. I told myself I wouldn't get emotional, but when you've worked with a great crew for 7 years (plus others in other departments), it's a little hard. I love all of you! It's time for my #nextchapter! My favorite time of day....when the sun casts its evening shadows and kisses the tops of the trees. It's so nice to have a cooler temp so we can sit outside to enjoy it.

At 5a this morning, I put a poll out (on Facebook) for people to tell me if I should go to the track or stay in bed. Lol I figured there wouldn't be many votes that early....it was more for fun, but I was a little serious too. The longer I laid there, the louder my inner self spoke to me. You see, I have a goal. My goal isn't to have the perfect body. It isn't to have a job that other's expect me to have. It isn't to have the biggest house or the fanciest car. My goal is to be the best version of myself I can possibly be (to my standards....not yours). . . . . . If you're struggling with trying to please others, and losing yourself along the way, it's time to make the shift. Trust me, you'll be glad you did!
