We're a rock n roll band with a story to tell. We use music and comics to bring that story to life.

Rock n Roll, Comics, and Kickstarter : A Love Story.

My friends and I have been working through a Kickstarter project that's in its last few days.

We make music (rock n roll inspired mainly by 90's alt rock, but I consider the sound along the lines of a punkier version of the Hold Steady.) The music is lyric heavy with fantastic narrative.

We also make visual art. Turn Back Now has a team of artists that do everything from typography, printmaking, sculpture, and illustration. One of the big projects we're working on right now is a comic book series. We're currently working on issue 2 of a very expansive story focusing on love, loss, friendship, and exploration during the time of the Apocalypse as told in the book of Revelations. We make all our own posters, tshirts, pins, stickers. 

The purpose of the Kickstarter is to give us a big push on our plans in each of these mediums. Over the summer, the comic has been worked on diligently and is due for release in less than a month. A small line of merch (dependent on our relatively small budget goal) has been designed and is currently in its final stages of development. The band is also touring this fall starting in the Midwest, working their way east, and then traveling down to the bottom of the Mississippi River to New Orleans and Texas.

My friends and I just launched a kickstarter to fund a new comic book, a tour, and a new line of merch (that a certain pasta lad has a key part in designing!)
