The blond’s eyes flashed momentarily, but he didn’t rise to the bait just yet. Yet being the keyword because really. If Daemon kept on pushing, he was going to find out just how enemies spent their days in the Vongola dungeons. “You’re an annoying thorn in my side. If I could get rid of you, I would do it with pleasure.” Alaude purred, handcuffs materialising in his hand.
He eyed the illusionist as he spun them around a finger consideringly, his eyes narrowing as Daemon’s taunting grin widened. Of course he was only riling him up… But Alaude could feel himself reacting accordingly as he tried to calm himself. “Worried? Why would I be? If you went missing, it would save me getting my hands dirty.”
Handcuffs disappearing back into his trench coat where they should be, Alaude turned on his heel to walk off. “Alas, it appears as that would be too much to hope for.”
Daemon snickered lightly, an almost shit-eating grin forming on his lips. It was always fun to taunt Alaude, and even though he knew he shouldn't... well, he always did. Honestly, he wasn't about to stop now. Bothering Alaude was honestly like a hobby by now, and he wasn't going to give it up. "Then why don't you?" Daemon taunted. "Unless, of course... you can't." There was a particularly infuriating 'nufufu' attached to that comment. Oh, he was laying out all of the bait now.
"Aw, but you see, Alaude. If I disappear... there is always the off chance that your reputation would be ruined." Daemon laughed, a kind of unsaid jest that he would be able to start demolishing reputations if Alaude couldn't find him to arrest him. But, it's not like he would actually. He just wanted to bother the blond man, and he always wanted to get the man riled up. It was interesting and amusing to see.
Daemon watched after Alaude. "You're always welcome to try and make it happen... but I can't guarantee your success."
