24 karat gold labubu divorces Dubai chocolate I don't fucking care girl
Okay but. Jelly Roll is actually a really important person in country music and is defying stereotypes and challenging conservative's perceptions of who can be a country music singer -- as is Lil Nas X, obviously, as well as Nathan Evans (a Scottish guy!), although the latter hasn't been on the charts yet.
Jelly Roll is a fat guy with tattoos on his face (as well as just about everywhere else). He is really well liked. Dismissing him because of his name is really annoying because the people we see in country are thin white guys with no tattoos and who dress Like A Good Christian. Fatphobia is a major problem in these spaces, as is whatever discrimination based on tattoos is called.
There is no white man who defies stereotypes in country music while Black country artists exist. Tattoos? Be fucking serious. Lol.
To clarify, I have no fucking idea who Jelly Role is, but I am Black and Texan and tattoos are on PLENTY of hillbillies. Having tattoos is not a dealbreaker for a white man in country.
FACE TATTOOS are looked at sideways in any space. Because a tattoo is on your fucking face. Country music heavies still tryna look at people with Black skin on their face as controversial. What are you fucking talking about???
A white man in country music today? Groundbreaking. Lol.
