I found out about the game from Jacob Geller's 2024 "11 of the Best Games from a Staggeringly Good Year of Games" video. He's also mentioned it in passing a few other times if I remember correctly. Seeing as he's a writer I look up to a LOT, I decided to check it out!

I AM SO GLAD I DID.

I can't draw very well, but here's something I wrote:

uhhhh....

Creating things can be hard. The struggle is definitely real. Lately I've been struggling really hard to put pen to paper on any project, forcing myself is the only way it gets done and I'm unhappy with the finished products.

All I know and keep telling myself is that I have to keep going. In a world where creativity is slowly being snuffed out by people with money I keep pushing, keep trying, because even if I'm unhappy with the end result, I made something.

I put in the time and effort to MAKE something with my own hands.

I've been getting back into Omori lately and I've been thinking about Stranger and Kel a lot- they're my favorite characters. Love them dearly. I wanna write something but I'm not sure what? If anyone has suggestions let me know lmao. I don't take writing requests anymore but I feel like I could write about Omori all day.

In the meantime, here's something small to chew on:

The Roof! A short piece I wrote for an Omori AU I have with a friend :) The context is that this is written from the POV of Kel, who witnessed Sunny jump off of the roof. Sunny survived the fall, and is now in a Coma. Kel will stay by his side until he wakes up- He can't let it happen again.

as much as I love the pairing of newbie guard x unid, the idea of shipping ANY character who's been mindhacked with anyone feels a bit. wrong? In a way?

Because yes technically they are still capable of consent, but it's not really THEM y'know???? like. would the pre-mindhack Unid be willing to kiss that twink? I dunno! Honestly I don't think he would be

They're cute together but it feels a little bit uncanny, especially if you were to ship post-mindhack unid with post-mindhack newbie. Because that's two lobotomized people basically.
