my dad just died. a week in the ICU, moved to hospice today. he was in another state and i couldnt afford to go to him this week. now he's gone. idk what to feel or do about it.

whatever happens, we'll get through it. work together and be a team, as a poly and internally as systems. we're telling our littles to settle. we're holding our wives' hands. just breathe and count. try and get some sleep. you're exhausted from working so hard these last days and you need to rest. you'll be okay. we're with you and we love you, in sickness and in health.

between the weird sprain in my left hand and the trauma nightmares that keep making me sweat thru my clothes, i'm this 👌 close to downing some nyquil just to get more than a couple hours of sleep at a time. this is so dumb.
