Herrscher didn’t knew if he was disappointed or relieved when he heard Trip leaving. Maybe both. However, he did not pay much attention to his feelings nor to the child. All his attention was on how to move, to breath or just to live without suffering too much. The coldness of the table was a little warming up, and breathing was now a little easier, even if he couldn’t explain why. Maybe was he just starting to get accustomed with this need. He was about to stand up and to try to find one of this dumb scientists -seriously why did they leave him alone when he was transferred in this human body?!- when some tissues appeared in front of him. Raising his head a little, he met Trip’s neutral gaze, and sighed before grabbing the tissues. “Thank you” he murmured with a low voice. Jesus, even talking was weird. He could feel vibrations in his throat each time he opened his mouth. Wiping his face, he looked at Trip during a second. He wanted to ask him why he was helping him like that, but something prevent him to try. Instead he simply raised himself, trying to recompose himself. “How do you endure… that?” he asked finally, wondering how a child could managed to live with so much things to feel.

Herrscher wasn't really sure, though, the pain preventing him to be as observant as he would usually be. A hand still on his chest, he tried to inspire a little stronger and winced at the sensation. It was still hurtful. Less than before -maybe Trip was right when he was saying most of people get accustomed to the sensation- but still difficult. “Most of people, you said...” he repeated absentmindedly as he was realizing what the child was maybe implying, “do you mean it isn’t your case...?”

He hated the idea of being a conscious machine knowing that if something went wrong with the electricity of the house, he could have problems and lose his back ups or his datas. He was perfectly aware there was few chance it happened, but still. Few wasn’t none. “Unfortunately, I don’t take orders from a brat like you” he finally answered with his teeth clenched.

God, he hated that. When would this storm finally end?! Shaking his head lightly, he rose himself and grabbed some papers he had to work on. He needed to keep himself busy to forget the fear. “If you want to go out, be my guest and do it. But in my opinion, you’d better stay here.”

For a good punishment, it was a good one. Herrscher hated more than everything to lose control over himself. He had too much duties and secrets to keep to allow himself to slacken off. Though… with his master only, he couldn’t reveal anything by accident, since the secrets was Virus’ secrets. But still. If the informations about being drunk he heard talking about were true, he was about to lose his ability to behave. And in front of his master, it was freaking him out. A little light on the screen informed him that the download was over. Sighing, he looked back at his master. “Is there is any special options you want me to install before I start the software?”
