machia:

-don quixote: she is the reason why there is now a newly added storyline of him faking his identity, also illusion/reality themes

-kdj: became the main inspo of the “killing my (past) self” storyline that has now become the main focus of np+rtda combined storyline (also helped justify my implementation of time loops!)

-hong lu: mostly themes inspo (conflicts with dealing with emotion) and is a slight inspo for his personality

camellia:

-faust: the whole thing with gretchen getting a baby and accidentally committing murder basically….it became a main plot point….also in general faust (lcb)’s struggle to adhere to a “standard”

-yuno: similarly i took inspo from her story (similar to gretchen’s) also her character traits. the whole “camellia has flings” thing came from yuno

-rodion: inspired camellia’s main character motivation (aka troubled by a feeling of being average hence has a weird fixation on “leaving her mark”), camellia is more similar to lcb rodion than crime and punishment rodion but certain events that happened to c&p rodion apply to her as well (suffering after the crime is committed)

mil:

-amane: provided the main direction for his character and story (religion and faith)

-john ward: hard to explain….np and rtda in my mind were always in the form of a plot from a game and not a novel like story and john ward influenced how i imagined mil’s supposed “game sequence” would go. also the struggle with the “devil” although for mil that is a symbolic one (aka his powers)
