      What was his best guess?  Not that.  His best guess had been all about Dean, all about her wanting to get back with his good friend, Team Purgatory reunited or something like that, all about isolating Sam.  Again.  What he didn’t expect was an answer that was— at least seemingly— honest.  Not wanting to be alone, that was something Sam could relate to.

Benny tapped her foot, seeing the wheels turn in Sam's head. She chewed at her lip, anxious. She wondered if she even had a chance talking to Sam, or if he still kept her on a short little leash, waiting to cut off her head and send her back. Third time's a charm, right? She couldn't blame him, seeing as she was just as paranoid.

"Way t'be blunt," Benny shook her head, not wanting to talk. Wasn't it enough that she worked so hard to find them? "What's your best guess?" she wondered what he was thinking.

        He was a little alarmed to hear that Benny had been able to succeed in finding them.  That wasn’t good, Winchesters weren’t supposed to be easy to find.  They were supposed to be elusive.  He would express that concern later, though, in private with Dean.

"It was a joke darlin', but now that y'mention it, I'm a little offended," she shrugged. 

               Sam was on his guard immediately, because sure, he forgave Dean for the whole ordeal and Benny hadn’t turned out all bad in the end, but the vampire’s sudden reappearance has him in wary surprise.

"Lookin' for you boys of course, what else would I be doin'?" she noticed him, automatically defensive. She shook her head with a teasing roll of her eyes and a small laugh. What a Winchester thing to do.
