Chris Pelekai and Ches Katz are now officially retired!

These characters were Stitch (Lilo & Stitch) and the Cheshire Cat (Alice in Wonderland), respectively, and have been retired after years of use. These Disney characters will not be reopened for future roles, as the now-retired representations of them have become a part of Love Disney’s history.

"So I won’t even force you to learn French.”

Well, that was good, Chris supposed as he was barely making it out of high school English with a D minus. He couldn’t imagine what he had to do when French threw that weird looking ‘C’ at him.

 ”Christmas won’t be much fun without you…”

"...Shit, dude. It is almost Christmas..."

 Chris reeled back for a split second before breathing out, “Dude, yeah. We’ve been bros for so long that… It’d really suck if this was the last I was gonna see of you man.”

Ches scoffed at that, grinning more now. "You can't get rid of me that easily; haven't you learned anything by now?" He leaned forward in the chair and stood up to walk over to Chris.

 He caught Ches pinching the bridge of his nose and knew what it meant, he’d been around Ches for enough years to pick up on his signals. 

"So are you headed back to your little ocean town, then?"

"Mmhm..." Ches leaned back in the office chair and slid his glasses back on. "I feel the same way, really. I'm not done with schooling, but God"--he rolled his eyes back--"I can't get anything done here."

"What about you?"

Ches frowned at the floor for a moment, then took off his glasses and wiped the lenses with the hem of his shirt. He wasn't sure what'd he'd been expecting, honestly. He'd be leaving soon, too.

”Hey,” He hummed, taking a look around at the stack of books and notebook paper. It was also rare to ever see Ches with his glasses on, “You studying?”

 The time had finally come, Chris was to graduate in the spring of this year. He honestly never thought the day would come but with his finals complete, the day was rapidly approaching where he’d leave the Academy as an alumni. Sure, he could’ve stayed up through college but the honest truth was that Nani couldn’t afford to send both him and Lilo and pursuing a higher education never was one of his plans. So, he’d go back to Hawaii and work his tail off side-by-side with Nani to increase the family income. 

 It was bittersweet, knowing that he had to say goodbye to everyone and the small fear that some of the people he’d come to know as family, he might never get to see again. The first person, he knew he had to say farewell too and had to say good bye to first and foremost before anyone else was Ches. 

 So that’s why he was standing outside his dorm room, hands shoved into the pockets of his khakis, looking around awkwardly as his foot kicked the bottom of the door. 

Ches, who had been poking through some midterm notes, lifted his head to look toward the door. He hadn't heard that voice in quite some time--what with having gone home for a good amount of time to deal with family, and then cramming like hell for exams by the time he got back. Ches pushed his thick glasses up by the bridge.

Once he had purchased his drink, he had made his way out the door. The steam had wafted up to his nose and it smelled wonderful. Just as he was about to take a sip, he ended up walking right into someone, spilling the drink on both of them in response.”I am so so sorry!” 

"Putain de merde! Ow!" he yelped and dropped his own coffee in surprise. Somehow, his phone stayed in his hand. "Ah! Sorry, I--"

"I am so, so sorry!"
