In the prelude to chapter four's egg room, there is a book you can find that seems to be hinting at the creation of the shadow crystals.

"And so wept the fallen star, making rivers with its tears. Then, slowly, from the bitter water, something grew. It looked like glass."

Now back in during chapter four this was already pretty clearly referencing the shadow crystals, but with the information we got from Seam in chapter five, "The Shadow Crystals are far more than mere pieces of glass (...) The power they contain is… 'The power of lost dreams,'" it's become a lot more blatant.

This passage is also interesting because it appears to be making a pretty one to one allusion to the fallen star, Wormwood, from the Book of Revelations.

"The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many died from the water, because it was made bitter."

Wormwood is called to fall by the third angel of a group of seven, as one of the many steps involved with starting the biblical apocalypse.

Where this all becomes relevant to Ralsei and where this book is properly contextualized is at the start of Chapter 5 with the Fun Gang's new titles. Kris gets Blue Rose, Susie gets Violent Violet, and Ralsei gets Artemsia.

This already stood out to me while playing simply because of how specific it is in comparison to the rest of the group's titles, but it became even more standout when considering that Artemsia is the genus of the plant Wormwood. A couple other plants related to herbal medicine fall under the Artemsia genus, but in the context of Deltarune, Wormwood really seems like the most notable one. In which case, that means Ralsei is indirectly being given the title Wormwood in a chapter largely focused on her character development. One in which we get a lot of hinting about Ralsei's role in the prophecy and her thoughts on it.

Given that this title also comes alongside the caption "goes well with tea," something that ALSO seems to be a part of the prophecy's image of Ralsei, it can only be assumed that the title itself is connected to the role she is meant to play.

From all of this, it seems to be implied that Ralsei is the fallen star mentioned in the Peculiar Book in the Egg Room. That the role of "Wormwood" is one she was made to play as part of the prophecy.

Now do I think that's literal and that Ralsei is literally a fallen star or that she's literally the biblical star Wormwood? Hell no! But it does seem to imply that whatever Ralsei is, it is in some way connected to the shadow crystals, and thus, in turn, connected to Lost Dreams, the Prophecy, and the start of the Roaring.

Bonus Evidence:

The Peculiar Book also seems to be referenced through the Bitter Tear, both in its name and item description.

Ralsei, notably, doesn't have any flavor text for the Bitter Tear.

The only other time this happens in the game is with Noelle, who doesn't have flavor text for the Black Shard and the Thorn Ring, for reasons that seem quite obvious. In any other circumstance, if characters have mixed feelings or nothing to say about an item, they just respond "..."

Which all seems to imply that Ralsei is connected to the Bitter Tear in some story important way, in the same way Noelle is connected to the Black Shard and the Thorn Ring.
