Hello, dearies, first self-care post! This is my first post of the variety. I saw no other posts for unseelie self-care and although we can be cruel and sometimes malevolent, we need to take care of ourselves as well. Hence this post

-go outside be with nature especially at night. Even those of the dark had connections with the earth.

- decorate with animal skulls and dried plants!! It can really help to be surrounded by the decayed and these are things that will not be hard to get or that rott in your house

- pick up herbalism and/or gardening!! Both work with plants and nature. With herbalism you may learn to heal and poison, and gardening you can pick and chose the plants you like

- read folklore!! Folklore combindes both the mythical and many times the gruesome. And we all know we very well may be both

- Grow some mildly poisonous plants (of course be careful with them if others live in your house) personally I would reccomend narcissus, lily of the valley, monkshood, iris bleeding heart or foxglove.

- if you had claws get some long fake stelleto nails and paint them your claw colour

- if you wear make-up try some dark colours, heavy eyeliner, black lipstick, messy hair.

-try to stop using apostophes and try to think about what you say. Your words can be held against you so be cautious about how you use them.

-improve your vocabulary!! By adding more words to your lexicon, your speach may become more eloquent. Fae are traditionally very vell versed in word usage and deceit, by leaning more words, it is easier to do so and bend people to you will.

- try running, especially through the city and woods!! It is a way to get your vessel healthy and a way to become familiar with the land.

- learn a dead language!! It can make help to know something others do not, to be abke to speak in which almost no other can understand.

- try wearing darker colours! And harsher cut clothing. Things with rough edges or if your a more elegant type, try longer clothing. (personally I wear mostly black but I add in some earthy/witch elements such as crystals and the like)

For the angels who never truly were warriors, even if they did have to fight

For the angels deemed softer or weaker by our brothers or sisters

For those who fell, and did not feel like they belonged among the darkness

For those who fell, and felt fear of their new home and new neighbors

For all of the softer angels, you are valid.

You did not have to be a warrior at heart. You did not have to be strong and mighty all of the time. A requirement for falling never was to feel at home in hell.

- moisturise your lips, hands & face, especially during colder months!

- drink more water. if you struggle with that, maybe try flavoured water or diluting juice

- if you wear makeup, wear a little extra blush, it makes you look so rosy and pretty ♡

- try to be as nice as you can as often as you can. i know it can be hard sometimes, but it feels so good

- if you have a favourite song, try listening to an instrumental piano version. (if there is one)

- light candles often, they look so soft and they smell nice! always remember to blow them out before you leave the room though ♡

- make an effort to not talk about people behind their back. i know it can be tempting, but in the end it just hurts people

- paint your nails a soft colour
