We've got soul

The little fallen child sniffled and looked up at the older soul. “…can you hep find my mommy?”

He nodded. He could at least try. “What’s your mommy’s name? Do you know it?”

The toddler nodded. “Towiew Dweema. She found me when I feww.”

Mike smiled, “Oh. I know mama Toriel. It’ll take some time for her to get here.”

“…huh?” The child stopped crying and tilted their head. “But I tot mama Towiew could get anywhewe.”

“She can, but it takes a little time for her.” He pulled out his cellphone and called Toriel.

The toddler, bored, sat down on the ground and started pulling at the grass between their legs. They laid the plucked blades to the side.

Once he was done with the call, Mike put his cell phone up. “She’s on her way. Hey, do you want something to eat while we wait for her?”

She cuddled Ash. “I’m here to make you feel better.”

"Thank you, Kid. You're the best."

She nuzzled Ash. “I love you.”

"I love you too, Kid."
