y'all please don't kill me, but i like endeavors character.
JUST HEAR ME OUT.
i dont like him, but his character. he is written so well and i wish more people would appreciate that
(s6 spoilers ahead)
he has shown an enormous amount of character growth in this series. recently, he has even realized how much his actions hurt the people he loves. he owns up to it, which can be really hard to to. and the best part about that scene is he doesn't ask for forgiveness he doesn't want them to say it's okay. he just feels truly sorry. obviously that doesn't excuse his actions but its nive seeing him grow so much as a character.
his reaction to dabi being revealed as touya and their encounters have to that was chilling. seeing how horrified endeavor looked. seeing how sincere he truly believed touya was dead. the realization that dabi took countless lives, and it was his fault
i really enjoy the way endeavor has grown as a character throughout this series, i truly do think he is written perfectly. a point i think that people miss is that your not supposed to like him. he's not a character you're supposed to like. but that doesn't mean you can't appreciate the writing behind it
in honor of my favorite holiday, here's some hq head canons!
nishinoya and tanaka - these two throw a big party every year. new years is one of their favorite holidays. they throw a BIG get together at tanakas place. candy, soda, all the junk food ever. they have EVERYTHING. the place is pimped out as well
kiyoko - she likes to go to a small get together with her close friends
hinata - he has a family new years party. he gets super excited when the countdown happens and gets SUPER loud. has had the cops called on him before because of it
tsukishima and yamaguchi - yamaguchi forces tsukishima to celebrate. tsukishima acts like he hates it but he does secretly enjoy it
daichi, suga, and asahi - they have a small party but they all end up ditching it to go to noya and tanakas party. this is the one day a year daichi lets them loose. daichi also takes a bunch of pictures and videos
oikawa - throws a party with a bunch of games, but pouts whenever he loses
hey! ive been super fixated on aot, so here is my deep dive into episode one of attack on titan. this is mostly the foreshadowing things but there are some extras.
MAJOR AOT SPOILERS AHEAD
• the title being: "To you, in 2,000 years" i am assuming "to you" is related to ymir fritz as "2000 years" is how many years since ymir got the shifters. my best theory with this is its ymir talking to armin possibly? armin and mikasa did what she could never do and killed off "the one they were in love with" the one who had all the power and was abusing it. armins the narrator in the first 3 seasons so i think thatd make sense. ive looked into what other peoples theories were and there are definitely quite a few, but this is the one that makes the most sense to me.
• in the opening scene birds are flying around. when eren wakes up, they scatter away from him. the birds represent freedom, and they're taunting him
• before eren opens his eyes he has a quick flashback, a bunch of things in the so called future that happen. this is in reference to how he sees the past the present and the future all at once. he got flashes of what was going to happen in the future.
• when eren wakes up, he says he forgot what he was dreaming about, and then mikasa brings up he was crying. this had more to do with the founding titan power, "it wasn't his time yet to know". but he was crying regardless because all of the tragedies that will await him (mikasa brings up this again in the episode)
• during this scene hes also sitting at the base of the tree he was later burried at
• throughout the first episode, even before the walls got attacked, you can see erens drive. a lot of people have been asking how much of what happened was eren and how much was the founding titan. he yells at hannes showing his anger and passion about what may be outside the walls. he goes to attack a man, goes to attack armins bullies, and he fights back as hard as he can when hannes is dragging him away from his mother. it is clear he is very passionate about those who he cares about in the beginning of the series, and in the end.
• erwin is seen in this episode after coming back from outside the walls. all throughout this episode people are saying that no new information is being learned and people are dying for nothing. but erwin didnt believe that. ever since his father taught young erwin about his theories, erwin thought there was something new outside the walls, some sort of secret. and he was right.
• eren throughout this episode keeps bringing up the outside of the walls. before his mom even died, he wanted to know. but it was something more than just the average curiosity. when grisha offers to show him whats in the storage, his eyes light up. more with the founding titan subconsciously leading him down the unfortunate past
• this encounter - bully: "or does your philosophy say its wrong to fight back too?" armin: "as a matter of fact it does, I rather take a few bumps then brawl like a beast!" i just think this encounter is ironic. parts of it do hold true, he does try to talk things through always before fighting, but in the end he did have to fight. and he did a lot of it.
• mikasas ackerman blood is also apparent in this episode. people are naturally intimidated by her because of how strong she was at such a young age. after all, fighting does run in their blood.
• "besides whats beyond the wall tends to put the issue into a different perspective" -hannes. this is interesting to me because hannes said it in a shallow way, referring to how stupid the titans were. but the people outside the walls do view things from a completely different perspective then them. he was right, even though he didn't mean to be
• armin called it: "[talking about how the walls are a false sense of security] and make no mistake, it absolutely is fleeting. the walls can't hold forever. only a matter of time" right after this is said, the collasal titan appears. but i think it's also interesting because he's right, the walls DIDN'T hold. instead the titans within them left them crumbling, destroying them entirely
• the collasal titan is huge, they would have seen it approaching, but it just seemed to appear. it also seemes to just disappear. this is in reference to the shifting power of titans
• erens immediate thought was to go down to his house to save his mom. the irony here being he was the one who sent the smiling titan (aka dina fritz) there.
• carla (erens mom) legs seemed to be crushed and broken under the house, but when the titan lifts her, she seems to be moving her legs just fine. were they just not crushed that badly? or was she trying to save eren and mikasa?

I absolutely adore this pairs relationship development. A lot gets revealed in S6, and a lot of "unexpected" words from Bakugo. Yes in the beginning of the series, Bakugo seems like a selfish prick. He bullies Deku a lot, but that never stopped their friendship. The moment Deku got a quirk, Bakugo immediately felt inferior. Thoughts like "How come he's advancing more and quicker then me?" race through his head. Throughout the series if you pay attention you can see a lot of small stuff bubbling up in their relationship. On the surface it seems like it's just Deku looking up to Bakugo, and Bakugo hating Deku, but its more than that. Sure, they're rivals but they are friends. Bakugo looks up to Midoriya as much as he doesn't want to admit it. Especially when in S6 when Deku is passed out and not waking up and Bakugo admits about how much he cares about Deku. How he really feels. How insecure he is. How bad he wants to make up for the way he acted when they were younger. Anyways yeah, I just really adore these boy's relationship. A friendship formed from a rivalry.
HAIKYUU HEADCANONS, WORK ETHIC/PART-TIME JOB EDITION (PRE TIME-SKIP)
suga - something with kids, he's really good with them but had a hard time not accidentally swearing in front of them.
daichi - wherever he'd work he'd be a model employee. definitely on the stricter side and absolutely will call you out for slacking off.
asahi - probably would work at a flower shop. he'd be a really good worker but if he ever screws up he would not stop apologizing
noya - some sort of customer service job. he would be extremely chaotic and would do absolutely anything to help a customer. on the lazier side, but hes not a bad worker.
tanaka - probably has a hard time keeping a job and he absolutely cannot work in customer service bc he always thinks people are challenging him.
kageyama - a sports store! except he'd never be able to work register bc he's not great with people... he'd probably end up offending someone or he'd kinds just stand there when getting asked a question
hinata - pet store/animal shelter!! he would LOVE being surrounded by animals (especially the dogs, he loves to pet them). he's a bit chaotic and confused but if you point him in the right direction he'll do his best
yamaguchi - wherever he works, he broke or spilled or screwed things up. constantly. also an over-apologizer.
tsukki - tutoring. he's great at teaching don't get me wrong, however, hes definitely not the nicest...
bokuto - fast food for sure. gets super excited about everything and often goes on rambles to customers. really friendly but sometimes overbearing.
kenma - if its not something online, then probably working at a gaming store. kuroo probably forced him into getting a job. good worker, but a little lazy. he doesn't hate his job, he just doesn't necessarily enjoy it. too much socialization.
oikawa - does he even need a job? his fans probably send him money. he'd absolutely do modeling in his free time though
daichi - very good driver, stays concentrated on the road, and has an incredible sense of navigation. has some road rage, ESPECIALLY when people are talking to loud in the car or getting caught in traffic. probably drives an SUV or jeep.
asahi - hates driving. he's scared hes going to hurt someone. he's a very safe driver, and this often angers cars behind him because he won't take a turn or anything untill the road is clear. he takes very specific routes.
suga - for some reason, everyone thinks hes a good driver when definetly iffy. hugs the curb for some reason and constantly goes over it. makes some very questionable decisions on the road. will scream at you if you don't put on your seatbelt.
kiyoko - very good driver. best of the bunch. plus her car is decorated cute and smells nice. always stops and waits for animals to cross the street.
tanaka - a horrible driver. horrible. he really takes after his sister. normally is a passenger in noyas car. he BLASTS music SO loud you can feel the car shaking. forgets to turn on his headlights. definitely packs his car the moment he gets his license. tenses up when a cop passes him. he speeds SO much.
noya - mostly safe driver, but definitely has his moments... he also tenses up when a cop passes him. sunroof open, all the windows down, loud music. normally speeds a bit. some turns he takes are very close and he zooms through roundabouts. horrible road rage. gets distracted very easily, and incredible impatient.
hinata - if he sees people he knows he honks at them. not a bad driver, but definitely not a good one. also gets distracted very easily. he often misses his cue to go and gets honked at... a lot.
kageyama - he drives REALLY slow. an absolutely horrific sense of direction. no music, quiet car. his car is probably black. refuses to use GPS, he's to good for that.
tsukki - an extreme tailgater. passes people all the time. road rage asf. good sense of direction.
yams - good driver, but he can't drive for lomg before he gets sleepy. very rational. cannot parallel park at all.
yachi - refuses to drive. too anxious. but she makes a great passenger as she had excellent navigation skills.
kenma - good driver but he hates it because he gets to anxious, prefers riding with someone else (normally kuroo)
kuroo - offputingly good at parallel parking. safe driver. the AC is always on blast in his car.
oikawa - also thinks hes too good for gps. looks at himself in his mirrors too much. will absolutely never take the blame. its always the other persons fault
bokuto - forgets things all the time and accidentally ignores signs. forgets to wear a seatbelt. this man can literally not park, it takes him to many tries and when hes finally in the lines, he's crooked.
