The setting that prevents your work being used to train AI models is turned off by default! I had no idea about this until now! Artists, go to your settings, click “visibility”, and turn on this setting! Protect your work!

Go to your blog (you have to do this for each individual blog) and the visibility tab

Day 3: Fav OC

OFC! Disclaimer I just mess with stuff until I like it… but here’s a little tutorial. A lot of times I do just normal style color but when I don’t have a lot of time cause of work and stuff gradient maps are my pal!

First I do my entire image in black and white! I focus on having a range of values so the gradient looks cooler.

I then make a copy of the BLACK AND WHITE version! In the new version, I collapse all the layers. You can also just save the image and open it in your program. I’m a procreate user so I just copy it. Here’s an example of a gradient I really like. I mess with the intensity of the effect until I enjoy the outcome!

For pieces where I want there to be more color outside of the gradient, I create a “Color” layer, and put in the “real” colors. I then mess with the opacity until it blends. I also tend to paint on top of all my layers too… as you see here I had already collapsed everything cause I was done HAHAH

Here’s some other gradients I like as a treat! I honestly just play around and have fun! Sticking light and bright colors in places can make it look really interesting.
