Read upto page 76 of We were liars in one sitting (that's almost half the book). It gives you internal agony for some reason.
It is like being in the sea with them but also it feels twisted and cold.
Good read. I did come across words I didn't know (or rich people stuff as I assume because I didn't know Havarati or whatever was a cheese). I made a list in my diary and a piece of extra paper (provided from the cutting of an A4 into two equal squares of the A4 breadth for my sister's holiday homework [its 5 small coloured drawings but I took 2 days to sketch four of them. when does her holiday end again?]).
I was too thirsty and sleepy by the time I left at page 76 so I got up to get my switched off phone in the other room that I had hoped would be charged, but I find it fully charged which is shocking (I rarely ever let it fully charge). I see the time in the clock in our room and its 2.30 a.m. I have royally messed up my sleep schedule again.
We, my sister and I, did go to the doctor's to get her the second shot for rabies. That sounded like she has rabies. She doesn't. A dog bit her. She's getting them to prevent the rabies ofc.
It was elder aunt K's birthday today.
Interestingly, my grandparents had called her when we were having dinner. But, she asked me as if implying she had yet to call her. Also implying that I should call her. I very gently played fool and asked her to call her and then pass the phone to us after they were done wishing. Might've been rude for me to do so. But suggesting or asking if I should call basically means acceptance (and then giving it back to her would seem more rude).
I cut her off on the phone call and passed it onto my sister when my grandmother was talking to me while I was on the phone with her. I talked a little loudly so my aunt would know it was grandmother's insistent interrupting that made me cut her off from starting a sentence.
I also had told aunt K about my sister getting bitten by a dog the previous morning (she was bitten the night before that) and I wouldn't really know if she chose to ignore the topic when talking to my sister, wanted to be on a higher level by not mentioning it first, or simply didn't choose to remember it because she thought we were sidelines anyway. Aunt K can be like that. The petal incident on the wedding grihapravesh kind of settled that thought into me. That she was like that.
Anyways. I spoke loudly about that too to grandmother. Insisting that she was informed. In a kind voice ofc. It might've come off as rude. Aunt K pretended/was unaware until we gave the call to grandma and she asked her. Her voice from the phone call sounded fake. Or perhaps it was the speaker quality. Or maybe even my own perception of her. Maybe the last one.
The rest of the day was a haze.
It is almost 3 a.m. now and im feeling twisted inside and sleepy. Latter being the reason for why im so verbose right now.
