The thing on the TV called benefit street has actually made me upset, like I thought I wouldn't be bothered but it's so close to home. I live down the road from these people, I know someone who is mending our fence, the little boy who was being cared for by his mum went to the school that my mum works at. The daughter of that woman was my next door neighbor. I get that bus that the man got to court to college and Middlesbrough is where I am educated. Stockton of full of decent PEOPLE and I'm actually pretty upset that these people have been exploited like this. People watching this who might see it as entertainment and a laugh, think about the people you see on the street as human beings and not tv personalities please. I'm not saying where I live is like that. I'm a very lucky individual from a single parent household, my mum has a good job and we live in a nice estate. But what if she lost her job? Who else could provide for the family if not her or me? Some people end up NEEDING benefits to live, and any one of us could end up like that with the economy as it it. So if you're sat laughing at benefit street, then maybe you should stop and think a little. I'm also really pissed off about the elections but let's not go into that.
