Life through the eyes of a Sydney sider

This morning like many other mornings I got on the train at 7:47am and stood where I always do. Whilst we go through the motions of stopping at each train station we need to, I noticed like so many people now are that we no longer have any type of communication. Looking around I could see that we have lost a sense of community and courtesy by saying hello or even a simple smile. It is rude to say hello or to smile at someone in this day in age and it is heartbreaking because we are too consumed by our phones and especially social media. Today I realised that we are more friendly towards others on social media platforms then what we are in real life.
