Watching Sunday's Call the Midwife, my usual emotional avoidance meant I spent the scene critiquing Timothy verifying Sister Monica Joan's death (fairly sure he didn't listen for two minutes as two minutes feels like an absolute age when you're doing that!)

Today I was asked to go and verify a death. Once back in the car my tears started, both for the family of the deceased, and also a fictional character that I've loved since 2012...

Today I went back to the University I trained at, and finished at 15 months ago, to support with teaching about the area I now work in.

The lecturer had changed from when I first agreed to it, as she was off sick. Instead it was a male lecturer, who is an amazing teacher and thoroughly lovely person. Turns out the crush I had all the time I was studying hasn't actually gone away.

Think I managed to stay professional though!!
