To me, Chapter 3 itself seems like a huge reason to do tennakris.
Tena is obsessed with Kris, longing for affection and even using force. Kris is annoyed and uncomfortable with Tenna. There is an absolute difference in the magnitude of their affection, and it irritates my taste.
As a case in point, Kris turns his head and suffers when he stabs Dotfungang with a sword in Hidden route, but there's no reaction when he stabs Dottena. For Kris, Tenna is only that big after all.
In the meantime, they made a secret contract without the player knowing. The retelling, "You aren't gonna turn me off again, are you...?", shows Tenna looking on Kris's face and being afraid, even though he has an overwhelming physicality than Kris. I love this, too.
