Important Information Session "Moving Forward" Wednesday, April 27th at 630pm.

At Your Soo Justice Centre…      178 Gel Avenue.  

We are calling this meeting in an attempt to "Move Forward". There hasn't been many people around at the site this past week and it's been a little confusing. This meeting will be an attempt to eliminate confusion and frustration and how we can move forward in a positive way with positive communication. We all had a common vision... and common goal.  We need each other and the support of one another to make this happen...  The site is an amazing facility to house all the ideas that we would like to put in place... We've had some successes with some of the events we have hosted so far and there is room to grow as well ... We have had a lot of amazing ideas come our way and we would love to facilitate all of them. One of the biggest problems we face is that there seems to be more ideas than people to head them up...Having a lack of people has led to some frustration, confusion, and anxiety. One of the other issues we have been facing is communication... We are going to try to correct that as well... With follow through. It is predicted that this time now (spring & summer), will be the calm before the storm... September, may be again, a difficult time for all of us with even more restrictions and lockdowns coming our way. We need to be able to keep our site, vision, goal in place and alive for that very reason. We hope that there is not anymore restrictions, lockdowns, and mandates, yet at the same we would like to be prepared in the event it does. We would like to do this for individuals now, and new comers that are starting the see what's really going on that need a place in the near future.

During this meeting, we will have some announcements coming as far as communication, follow through, funding, income stream and work sharing/ food sharing programs. We are welcoming some self sustainable communities to join so we can assist each other. There will be some programs for employment for members without full time employment. We are also going to try a work sharing program for those operating a local business who may need labourers and seasonal working staff.  

When we all come together as one, amazing things can happen. "Helping people help people to help people"!

Also needed are donations for the garage/rummage sale. Spring cleaning can turn up items that one no longer needs or uses... With that being said, we would be very thankful for any donations you wish to drop off. Your kindness would be very much appreciated. In your spring cleanup efforts, if you happen to come across some tables, chairs, shelving, coat hangers or whatever you would care to part with, please let us know.  Brad's pick up truck and trailer are available if one needs us to pick items up.

Thank you all very much for all of your support, past, present and future....  Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you all for everything you have provided thus far... We hope to see as many faces as possible. If for some reason you are unable to attend, please e-mail us (a couple days in advance) to let us know and if there are any concerns you wish for us to discuss. We will then get back to all of you in as timely manner as possible.

We will host our first Movie Night on Saturday, March 26th, 7:00pm at Your Soo Justice Center.

Our double feature includes two GREAAAAAAAT movies

Kids can bring their pillows & blankets to snuggle up in!  

$5.00 - includes movie  & One bag of popcorn  ( canteen available)

There will be a meeting at our site this evening at 7:00pm. If you are unable to attend, please let us know of any concerns you may have.
