Standard Raid levels

Data recovery RAID 5 and RAID 6 uses the parity and block level striping.The blocks are spread in the disks rather than creating the single strip for the each drive. When the blocks are separated then also the operations can continue even when the single disk failed. Each strip has one parity blocks. When the data is spread across the different disk, it is ensured only a small percentage of the loss to the given blocks. When the I/O requests are sent by the applications, it takes long time to send and receive the information.

Nested RAID Levels

It involves the combination of the six different types of data recovery raid   :-

A full copy of the disk is made by RAID 01. After the disk mirroring, striping is used and all the data is on the both disks instead of splitting between the disks. RAID 10 stripes the data and then copy of the stripes is made. The information is divided first across the disks by RAID 10 configuration and then the stripes are copied.
