so late for @songxiaoseptember week three because i didn't manage to finish it before i went away... but i can sneak it in at the end. thank you to this event and i wish i could have done many more things!

The villagers had insisted greatly that Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan accept their money. The villagers believed that they had done them a great service by exorcising a vengeful spirit.

As a result, Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan found themselves with enough supplies to last for a while, along with a money pouch. They decided to split the money equally and treat themselves once they reached the next city. They had met a few weeks ago and discovered that they made a great team on night hunts, so it made sense to stick together.
