However, after doing music for years, I eventually decided what really mattered to me was looking after the people close to me - which was not an option while living on such a small amount of income. In a big patch of stress I quit music and needed to get my life together for a while, but now I work for a company and am the most financially comfortable I have been in my life. I can buy my family and friends the nice things I wanted to get them, and things are actually going pretty well. I might not be the cool depressed musician I was a decade ago, but I’m really happy with the way my life is right now. If you ever cheered me on, even for a day, thank you. I promise I will carry your kindness with me forever :)
