SON/\MOO

Sonamoo are one of the most talented groups in kpop. Unfortunately they’re also one of the most underrated, so I decided to make a compilation to showcase their talent. This list isn’t as complete as I’d like due to the lack of Sonamoo content, but I hope it gets the point across!

-Group- Solid Vocalists, Incredible Dancers, also proof of their versatility, (Deja Vu, Just Go, Cushion, Round N Round, I Like U Too Much, I Think I Love U), and Overall Performers (covers of other artists: Crazy in Love - Beyonce, White Night - Up10tion [AKA the best thing ever], Resolver - Shinwha)

-Individuals (click on the members’ names for a short introduction)- *High.D (main vocalist): One of the most underrated vocalists in kpop. She can also compose & play piano

*Minjae (lead vocalist): Also one of the most underrated vocalists in kpop [my personal favorite performance] (Bonus! vocal line duets)

*New Sun (high rapper): Writes lyrics for the group and even composed, arranged, and contributed to the synthesizer in their song B.F (Bonus! cover of Like Nobody Knows by Cheetah ft. Ailee with High.D)

*D.ana (low rapper): An amazing rapper, which you can hear in her self written rap track and her co-written rap track with New Sun. She also writes lyrics for the group. Here is a link to the Cushion album’s wikipedia page where you can see which songs the two worked on for that album

*Euijin (dancer, vocalist): Never gets enough credit for her dancing. She’s also a great vocalist as seen here at the 1:04 mark (watch the whole video for parts by High.D, Minjae, and Sumin) (Bonus! dancing to their songs while playing the recorder)

*Sumin (sub-vocalist, leader): Unfortunately I couldn’t find many solo clips of her, but she’s a great dancer. Here are some fancams (Bonus! dancing to Say My Name by Destiny’s Child with Nahyun, Euijin, and D.ana)

*Nahyun (dancer, sub-vocalist, actress): Starred in the webdrama The Miracle (with appearances from the the rest of the group). I also struggled to find content for her, but she’s a great dancer as well. Here are some fancams
