“But I wanna build a snowman!” Anna protested, she knew as well as Elsa that her magic had to say secret, but it was just so beautiful!

“She’s perfect,” Anna smiled looking down at their daughter, who was sleeping in her arms.

Perfect? That wasn’t even a word to describe their beautiful daughter. The perfect mix of both of them. Ginger coloured hair, dark brown eyes, a smile that was made out of Anna’s. Perfect, yes and even more. “She’s everything I could’ve ever ask for.” he smiled. And it seemed like he could never get out of smiling. The next question was a name. He had hundreds of names on his mind but right now, none of them were actually there. Except for one. 

“Maja, I like it.” Anna smiled, watching the baby in her arms, as much as she loved to stare at her daughter, Anna was beginning to feel the fatigue of long labor.

Anna giggled, not at Rapunzel, just in delight to finally meet her long lost cousin.

“Freya,” Anna said with a proud smile, the baby was perfect. Her big blue eyes watching her mother and her aunt curiously, “would you like to hold her? She’s very sweet.”

Holding out the baby for Elsa to take, Anna couldn’t help but remind her sister to support the baby’s head.

“Kristoff was with me the entire labor, but I wish you could have been there with me too.”

“OF COURSE,” ELSA MURMURED, TAKING care when lifting the baby from her mother’s arms. It brought vague memories of holding Anna when she was a babe back – perhaps she could find them in Ahtohallen at some point. A roll of her eyes was all Anna got for the reminder – it was natural for mothers to worry.

“Hello, little one,” she whispered to the tiny face staring up at her. “I’m your Auntie Elsa – and I’m going to spoil you rotten.”

“I know, but we’re together now,” Anna smiled as she watched her sister interact with her daughter.

Her daughter. It was hard to believe even now that she was a mother.

“I’ve seen dark before, but not like this.”

“The life I knew is over, the lights are out.”

“Hello darkness, I am ready to succumb.”

“This grief has a gravity, it pulls me down.”

“You are lost, hope is gone, but you must go on.”

“But can you brave what you most fear?”

“When all is lost, then all is found.”

“Everything will never be the same again.”

“Some things stay the same.”

“Are you telling me that tonight you’re gonna get down on one knee?

“Yeah bud, I’m really bad at planning these things out.”

“Maybe you should leave all the romantic stuff to me.”

“I’m not sure I want things to change at all.”

“Everyone I’ve ever loved is here within these walls.”

“I’ve had my adventure. I don’t need something new.”

“I’m afraid of what I’m risking if I follow you.”

“Are you here to distract me, so I make a big mistake?”

“Don’t you know there’s part of me that longs to go.”

“But is this what it feels like to be growing apart?”

“I’m lost in the woods.”

“When you’re lost, I’m the one who sees you home.”

“I can sense you there.”

“I’ve always been a fortress, cold secrets deep inside.”

“You have secrets, too, but you don’t have to hide.”

“Are you the one I’ve been looking for?”

“All my life I’ve been torn, but I’m here for a reason.”

“I have always been so different.”

“I’ve come so far.”

“This will all make sense when I’m older.”

“Someday I will see that this makes sense.”
