heey everyone!

Sorry I haven’t been writing for a while, where I live school just started yesterday and I had to study for a test I had to take last week since I applied to a new school. I just got a little bit of free time and wrote chapter 3!

Dan x Reader

                                                     Chapter 3

Oh, my God. How was I going to explain to Dan why I didn’t have a partner? It’s so much easier for him to explain because he is a guy and didn’t feel like inviting anyone at school. But I didn’t have an excuse like that since I am a girl. Girls are the ones who get asked to go to prom with and if you weren’t asked by anyone it is a very big problem. Shit!!  

“Um, I chose to come by myself. You know, didn’t really like my date” That was so stupid. HOW COULD I SAY SOMETHING THAT STUPID? Of course, he would know that no one invited me. Like seriously, what else could it be? 

“Oh, cool”. He said trying to keep the conversation going. I was so embarrassed. That was when the director stepped on stage for an announcement. 

“Hello, Everyone!” She said while the rest of the people were turning around to look at the speaker. I looked at Dan and started inspecting his features. He was very tall, but not a lot taller than me, I was considered one of the tallest girls in the grade. He had a pale skin, brown eyes like chocolate and light pink lips. His features worked together well, really well. 

He was wearing a black suit, as usual. Dan always wore black, it is like it is a part of him, his personality. But it did suit him. Wait, what? 

After a while, he looked at me. I suddenly look away embarrassed, he smiled at me and I looked back at the speaker. She literally finished the announcement and I didn’t hear anything she said, fuck. What the hell was I doing? Literally looking at Dan? Oh, my God. 

Music started playing and the students started to go to the dance floor. Dan and I were the only ones who stood there. There were a couple of seconds of silence there when I noticed Dan was looking at me. But it was literally the same way I was looking at him before. Shit, Shit, Shit. How could it be? I looked at him and smiled like he did, and that was when he tried to start another conversation. 

“Aren’t you going to go?” He said. I felt butterflies in my stomach, FUCK. NO, IT CANNOT BE HAPPENING, NOT NOW, NOT DAN. 

“I don’t think so,” I said. What? What did I just say? I’m so stupid what even. “My friends all have dates to go with, and I don’t want to go alone…” OH SHIT. Did I just give him a hint? Did I just insinuate that I wanted to dance with him? I’m so stupid. “Don’t you want to go?” I said so it wouldn’t be weird 

“I can’t dance…” He said. Oh if he wasn’t going to do it I was. WAIT, WHAT NO. 

“Don’t worry, just come along”
