to be in a position where truly it is a 50/50 chance your life will change in every capacity, quickly, is an insane place to be. i have done it before, but every time i am in this place, i am just in Sheer Awe how human we are, how probability and luck define a lot— and i use luck loosely as i am still not fully convinced i believe in 100% luck
