Jack Wynand had a twin – a clone, really. The two were close friends with Eleanor in their brief youth, with the girl often sneaking off with the twins in tow. Sinclair found himself catching them in their antics, eventually going from keeping their little adventures a secret to warming up to the boys enough to almost consider them his own sons.

And then they got sent off to god knows where only to be shipped right back to start off Bioshock’s events.

He’s a bit upset about that, the loss of contact with the twins making him decide to start redeeming himself for his more greedy antics in the past. And then Bioshock 2 happens.

I’m telling you, Eleanor and Delta get him out of the mind control and everything is happy in the end, please, please let me have this,

The Twins AU has developed a lot in the past week. So it’s getting a new name! For now it’ll be Aces unless that sticks before we find a better name. 

The four main characters in it fit each of the aces symbolically. The secret ones are.. well, either be patient or figure it out if you want!

Ace of Spades (death/misfortune) - “Jackie” / Jack Ryan / other nicknames - The ‘bad’ twin, being subjected to different experimentation than just the WYK stuff. He ends up kind of splicer-y and gains the nickname of “the Kraken” later on. 

Ace of Clubs (knowledge/curiosity) - Jack Wynand - The ‘good’ twin, being closer to the canon good route version. He just wants to know what the hell is going on with his life. 

Ace of Hearts (love/family) - [seeecret >:7c] - They just want a family. And some happiness. And other things.
