I’m trying to develop a more painterly style so here is my latest attempt! I tried not using a pencil brush this time for the lines, first time doing a piece like that ngl! How did I do?

I’ve had a little creative block over the last few days so I took some time off to rest 😵‍💫. Does anyone have any advice for being kinder to oneself whenever it comes to art? I’ve been hating on what Ive been making lately. But here’s a little doodle regardless, I wanted to draw something to get my creative juices flowing again

All hail the Queen of Yuri herself—It’s Miyo Murosaki!! I got inspired by her library outing fit and drew her in something similar/causal. I think a mstureish style suits her yet it still has an underlying cuteness to it as well, all and all I’m pretty happy with how this came out! I hope you like it too :>

Also I’m still studying digital gouache so I tried out some layering techniques here to make the brushstrokes more defined. I hope I did okay in that regard too!

That aside I’m still trying to learn to make my renders look more painterly and hand draw, unsure if I like the output for this but at least she is cute

Hello! This is my first post on here (technically I posted one in a community tab today too haha), so I figured I’d post something here! Since this piece I’ve started to work on a more painterly rendering style instead of a more traditional digital style. It’s still very much a WIP but I’ll try to post some of my efforts soon!
