The origin of modern LGBT rights movement. Christopher Street Liberation Day(6/28/1970) for gay and lesbian rights turned into the annual NYC Pride March we have today. In a global perspective, Christopher Street Day in Europe is held annually as well in memory of the Stonewall Riots.
The drawings investigates the after effect of the very first LGBT liberation parade, especially on the intertwined connections between the streets where NYC Pride takes places,the public parks along Pride route, the builTdings that were built prior to 1969, the subway systems, and the dwelling units of people who were at least 21 years old in 1969.
