A Wunderkammer of Light

The German word Wunderkammer (chamber of wonders) indicates the particular environment in which - from sixteenth century to the eighteenth century - the collectors used to store crowd of objects with extraordinary features. Sololuce, with the concept 'Cabinet of Light Curiosities', offers its personal chamber of wonders, where technology, interactivity and light come together to create innovative tools for a new retail experience. Inspired by the elementary forms of Kandinskij's abstract art, Sololuce declines LED technology into elementary shapes: point, line and plane are transformed in lighting concepts where they become protagonists as chip-on-board, stripLED and backlight matrix.
