actually complying with mamdani's 78 degree suggestion and my bathroom lights are still flickering like crazy. i think the wiring in my building is just shit. i live in a rowhouse and my kitchen (no ac) and living room (no windows) are 87 degrees right now. i can only lower the temperature in those rooms by blasting my bedroom window unit and facing a fan outwards into the living room, but the electrical company sent out an email imploring us to use only one AC at a time.... 😵‍💫

i went to a headspa once and the girl was like your scalp is perfect why are you even here... and i was like for relaxation? i love a head massage and having my hair touched. then she was like do you blowdry your hair and i responded almost never and she was HORRIFIED. she said your scalp can get moldy. which i dont understand at all because we evolved minus blow-dryers
