When Himawari clinged to her more, it did give a sense of comfort, it let her mind calm down a little to let her know her daughter is still with her, she uses one hand and wipes the rest of the tears off of Himawari’s face gently as a way to comfort her back, and she gives a soft smile at her response.
“Heh, of course I’m here, I searched everywhere for you, and I wasn’t going to give up until I found you, I’m going to make sure the person that did this gets what they deserve if I ever see them again, I’ll make sure they won’t lay a finger on you again, you’re safe now.”
Hinata, even with being upset, still kept her calm composure for Himawari’s sake, Hinata was strong, and she would do anything to protect her kids, she would hunt to the end of the world and back to get her kids out of harms way.
A soft smile graced Hmawari’s lips then. She had no doubts that she was safe, and she almost felt bad for the enemy that took her for making Hinata an enemy. While Hinata was soft in nature, she was a force to be reckoned with when angered. Maybe that was where Himawari got it from... The thought almost made her giggle and she felt even more comforrted.
“Can we go home now?” she asked almost meekly. She wanted to get away from the pit she had been in as fast as possible and the idea of sleeping in her (parents’) bed was the most comforting thing she could get at the moment. Plus, she doubted her Mama wanted to hang around there either.
