So sorry to ask but do you think you’d ever reupload fics that you’ve privated? I’ve been going down memory lane and your fics are on my mind!

aw there are a few i might reupload one day! i do get the itch sometimes but i hold myself back because most of those works are wips that ultimately make me really self-conscious upon reflection. and if i ever return to them, might just get reposted as a diff fic because i wanted to transform or flesh out something in the plot, etc., that just wasn't well thought out enough. i'd probably feel a lot better letting unfinished works out in the open if i were more confident in my ability as a storyteller LOL. i'm sorry 😭

Mine is that the first time Mikasa used a nail paint was when Jean got her one from Marley and she asked him to paint her toes which he was happy to do. But since then whenever she wants to paint her toes, she'll ask him.

And then on the morning of their wedding (I headcanon them to have a small wedding in their own garden) she asks him to paint her toes, and all their friends are really? He's not supposed to paint your toes, he's the groom, and he has to get ready too and so and so. But Mikasa is like only Jean paints my nails. So it's very chaotic, with their house full of people running around everywhere, meanwhile there's Mikasa just sitting on the couch and Jean painting her toes sitting on the ground, her feet on his lap.

And then after the wedding they're in the bedroom and a little nervous (just because it's the so called wedding night). Mikasa sits at the foot of the bed, and Jean kneels down in front of her, taking her shoes off. Then he's just admiring her nails, like, "This pink really suits you."

Jean is a very good dancer, a fact that catches Mikasa by surprise one night when the Scouts are hanging out at a tavern. Mikasa herself is equally good as well, but her shyness is the main reason she rarely dances in public.
